Bruce previously competed in the Saloon Car series and held the Championship 5 times in

2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2007

He is competing now in the HQ Series, along with his son Joel

and together they compete as members of the Angus Go Cart Club based at Strathalbyn.
